What is eGNSS?

eGNSS is based around eResearch in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), to leverage the usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance research and international research collaboration in GNSS. Advances in ICT make it easier to access, exchange, transmit and manipulate large quantities of data in real time or near real time. Enhancement of GNSS research and development is also achieved through the use of eResearch technologies which allow GNSS experiments, computing data analysis, sharing of facilities, resources and research publications to be performed more effectively nationally and internationally.
